Humanitarian aid for village residents in Donetsk region: the places volunteers are visiting in June

06.06.2016

More than 1,500 civilians in remote settlements of Donetsk region received humanitarian aid from mobile teams of Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center during the first days of July. Volunteers visited villages in the "grey zone", remote districts in non-government-controlled areas and also the town of Kramatorsk with many IDPs living there.

"Today our mobile team is issuing packages on the very contact line, in Novotroitske. According to information of our volunteers, local residents formed a long line at the issuing spot since morning. These are mainly elderly people and families with many children. We are planning to take 11 more trips to the "grey zone" settlements, including Pisky, Mayorsk, Opytne, Netailove and Zaitseve till the end of the month. All in all, we are planning to deliver food packages to more than 10,000 people", – Natalia Baryshpolska, the Head of 'Humanitarian Aid' direction at the Humanitarian Center, commented.

The list of mobile teams' trips till the end of June and the list of the most vulnerable categories to be provided with humanitarian aid can be found on the Humanitarian Center's website here. You can also find out more details about humanitarian aid issuance via the Center's hotline: 0800 509 001.
