19 thousand persons will receive Rinat Akhmetov’s help in April

In April, the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation’s mobile distribution crews will deliver survival parcels to 27 towns and villages located along the confrontation line.

‘The Foundation is continuously monitoring the situation in the Donbas, studying the needs of civilians there and adjusting the geography of its operations. Today, the aid from Rinat Akhmetov is being delivered to 94 towns and villages located in the frontline area and along the confrontation line. The Foundation’s mobile distribution crews bring survival parcels to residents of 87 villages. In another seven towns and villages in the Donbas, the aid is distributed via permanent outlets. It goes to those who need it the most: children, people with disabilities and pensioners,’ Mykhailo Katerynchak, Project Head at the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation said.

The Humanitarian Headquarters is the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation’s largest program. For the fifth year, survival parcels are being regularly delivered to civilians of the Donbas. Over 12 million food parcels, including over 880,000 children’s parcels, have been delivered since the outbreak of the armed conflict.

‘Besides aid delivery, the most important task is to give people hope, compassion and understanding. Rinat Akhmetov’s help is not just salvation. It is the confidence that people haven’t been left one on one with their woes in a difficult time,’ Tetiana Kukhotska, the Foundation’s Director for Project Development said.

In April, distressed residents of the frontline Donbas will also be able to receive aid at permanent distribution outlets in Svitlodarsk and Avdiivka.
