The truck convoy of Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center is queueing for customs control in Volnovakha
"19 heavy-duty trucks with food products from Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center are waiting for their turn to be inspected at the checkpoint near Volnovakha. The convoy is in the same corridor with the United Nations humanitarian mission's convoy, – Grigory Koldunov, Director of Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center, announced, being directly at the checkpoint together with the convoy.
Yesterday, on the 25th of June, the truck convoy of Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center couldn't pass the customs inspection and cross the contact line due to intensive shelling.
This convoy is delivering 380 tons of food for Donbas civilians, living in non-government-controlled areas. In case of successful delivery of these products, today our Donetsk volunteers start forming 20,000 adult survival kits and 6,000 children packages.
It bears reminding that due to the current problems with humanitarian aid delivery across the contact line, the points issuing food packages from Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center are working only in Donetsk.
