What villages in Donbas will have humanitarian aid delivered in July: schedule of volunteers' trips
Food packages for 16,000 residents of villages and remote towns of Donetsk region are planned to be issued in July by mobile teams of Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center. Humanitarian aid is aimed at the most vulnerable categories of the population. During the month it is planned to make 58 trips to the "grey zone" villages, remote raions in non-government-controlled areas and the town of Pokrovsk (Krasnoarmiisk) with many IDPs living there.
"Mobile teams continue delivering survival kits to the most remote and inaccessible settlements. In July these are Buhas, Ocheretyne, Karlivka, Artemove, Pishchovyk, Myrne, Pavlopil, Kirove, Hranitne, Chermalyk, Pionerske and Verkhniotoretske. Many of them, located on the very contact line, suffer severe shelling again and have damaged houses with no electricity and water. The Humanitarian Center's volunteers have already visited the villages several times each. They risk their lives, but understand that local civilians really need help. We are planning to deliver about 16,000 packages, where 2,000 are aimed at children under 35 months old", ‒ Rimma Fil, the Humanitarian Center's Coordinator, commented.
