In March the volunteers from mobile issuance will issue 11,500 food packages. Schedule of trips
Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center continues providing assistance in government-controlled areas of Donbas. In March the Center's mobile volunteers will visit 34 settlements. Volunteers will deliver and issue 11,500 food packages. The aid is aimed at the most vulnerable categories of population – elderly and disabled people, single parents and families with many children.
"Since our activity is being blocked, we cannot issue humanitarian aid in non-government-controlled areas. But we keep on operating on the other side of the contact line: our fixed issuing points continue working in government-controlled areas, and our mobile teams of issuance take trips to the "grey zone" settlements", – Natalya Baryshpolska, the Head of "Humanitarian Aid" direction, shares.
Over 2.5 years Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center issued 11.6 million food packages on both sides of the contact line. The Center's aid saved more than one million people.
