“Events like these are extremely important”: singer Has holds an inspiring meeting at the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation’s Blogger Camp

Ukrainian hip-hop artist and TV host Has spent a day with participants of the spring session of Blogger Camp organized by the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation. The artist came to support children affected by the war and those who had been returned from occupation. At the Camp, they are now resting, improving their health, and recovering psychologically.

“Events like these are extremely important, especially during the period of the full-scale invasion. We must think first and foremost about the younger generation, about their future, and their emotional, psychological, and physical well-being,” the singer emphasized.

Together with the campers, Has spent an inspiring day and held a motivational meeting during which he shared the story of his creative journey and spoke about how he tried five times to pass the audition for Star Factory. The singer emphasized how important it is not to be afraid to develop one’s strengths and to keep working on oneself even after setbacks.

Bullying became a separate topic of discussion. The singer openly shared his own experience with the children and explained why it is important to speak about this issue in time.

“Bullying is, unfortunately, an eternal issue. But it is in our hands to minimize this process. There was more than enough bullying in my life. It affected me and shaped me as a person. It is very important to talk about bullying because among those around us there may be the person who bullies and the person who is being bullied,” Has explained.

The children listened attentively to the artist and actively asked questions - they were interested in Has’s creative work, his sources of inspiration, his plans for the future, and how he sees himself in 10 years. The conversation turned out to be lively and sincere.

“The initiative of the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation is the coolest thing I have seen for children and teenagers today. It’s wow! The children show everything as it is and share their genuine emotions. When you are surrounded by children who are happy, enjoying themselves, unafraid to ask questions, unafraid to take out a phone and film that vlog - in the end, I really like it. Thank you to everyone involved in doing this for children,” the singer noted.

At the end of the meeting, Has gave the campers an energetic performance and performed his best-known hits.

Blogger Camp is an activity that motivates Ukrainian youth to move forward by mastering blogging skills with the support of experienced mentors.

Thanks to the project “Rinat Akhmetov for Children. Peaceful Rest for the Children of Ukraine,” nearly 5,000 children from across the country have had the opportunity to rest, recover, and undergo psychological rehabilitation. In total, about 6 million children across Ukraine have received support within the framework of the “Rinat Akhmetov for Children” program.
