Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center helps the victims of Krasnohorivka shelling with medical treatment

Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center will help with medical treatment and surgeries to three women, who suffered due to Krasnohorivka shelling. This was announced during the briefing at "Ukrainski Novyny" information agency by the Humanitarian Center's Coordinator Rimma Fil. 

"On June 20 at night, due to direct hit of a shell into a multi-storey residential house, three women of 48, 54 and 76 years old were injured. All three of them were taken in severe condition to Central Marinka district hospital (located in Kurakhove). The women have multiple shrapnel wounds to their heads, trunks and limbs. These patients have a long and expensive treatment ahead of them. The Humanitarian Center will provide treatment to all three of the victims as part of its 'Targeted Assistance' program", ‒ Rimma Fil stated.

Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center contacted the attending doctors to find out what kind of help was needed. The injured women will have all the necessary medications and bandages for operations purchased for them.

Over the entire period of its operation Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center provided targeted assistance for medical treatment to 6,269 people, including 2,077 children.

"This is a horrifying statistics, and unfortunately, the counter of people affected due to Donbas hostilities keeps recording new victims. During the entire military conflict Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center helped and will continue helping injured women and children", ‒ the Humanitarian Center's Coordinator said.
