The Humanitarian Center continues delivering its aid to Donbas: 390,000 survival kits are to be issued in April
In April Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center is planning to send 14 truck convoys with humanitarian aid for the most vulnerable civilians to Donbas. The total volume of aid in April is 390,700 adult and children food packages.
"We are anxiously following the situation that is developing around Yasynuvata and Avdiivka due to intensified hostilities. There are many calls from retired people coming on our hotline. They hear the gunfire and worry, whether they can get their food package. I would like to assure that Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center will continue delivering humanitarian aid to the fullest extent. During the month we are planning to deliver 4,000 tons of food", – Oleksandr Vyshniakov, Director of the Humanitarian Center, commented.
Every week four convoys will be sent to Donbas. The Center sent the first of the planned convoys on April 1. 29,600 adult and children survival kits will be delivered to Donetsk. Also two Humanitarian Center's mobile teams delivered survival kits to the villages of Amvrosiivka and Oleksandrivka raions and the town of Dobropillia.
Over the entire period of its operation Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center issued 7,615,000 survival kits for adults and children on both sides of the contact line.
