Humanitarian aid for residents of remote settlements in Donetsk region in June: delivery schedules
In June the mobile teams of Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center are planning to deliver food packages to 52 settlements of Donetsk region. The trips are planned to villages in the "grey zone", remote settlements in non-government-controlled areas and towns of the region with many IDPs living there.
"In June we are planning to deliver food to nearly 15,000 people staying in extremely severe conditions. Our main recipients are elderly and disabled people. Also, there are a lot of babies under 35 months old and nursing mothers in the villages, including the "grey zone". They will be provided with 800 packages. Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center continues supporting people staying in the hottest spots on the contact line. During the month the volunteers will visit Pisky, Opytne, Netaylove, Novotroitske, Kirove, Zaitseve and Mayorsk. Help and support are very important for people staying there" – Rimma Fil, the Humanitarian Center's Coordinator, commented.
