PHOTO REPORT. Humanitarian aid for Novoazovsk raion

10.11.2015

Last week, during 2-6 of November, mobile volunteers of Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center were working in Novoazovsk raion of Donetsk region, where the contact line passes. The volunteers delivered humanitarian aid to civilians living in the settlements in non-government-controlled areas.

Food packages were received by the most vulnerable residents of Prymorske, Naberezhne, Sosnovske, Ukrainske, Pervomaiske, Sedove, Obryv, Kholodne, Bezimenne and Zaichenko villages. Altogether they issued over 1,700 survival kits both for adults and children.

"To cover 10 villages of Novoazovsk raion the Humanitarian Center's volunteers made five visits from Donetsk to these settlements. It is 1,258 km on the road.  46 hours of work directly at the issuing points. The work of mobile teams is difficult, but necessary. Humanitarian aid is much demanded in the deep countryside, especially those places located on the contact line that other humanitarian missions do not reach", – the Head of Donetsk logistic centre, Andriy Sanin, comments.

The same visits are made to the settlements in government-controlled areas and on the contact line. As of November 10, 2015, the mobile teams of Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center issued the total of 61,182 survival kits in the remote villages and towns of Donbas on both sides of the contact line.
