Assistance from the Humanitarian Center in «grey zone»: where to get it in February?

During February 11,600 civilians in "grey zone" and remote villages in Donetsk region will receive food packages from mobile teams of Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center. This was announced by Rimma Fil, the Humanitarian Center's Coordinator, during the online conference in 'Segodnya Multimedia'.

During the month the volunteers will visit more than 50 settlements in six raions of the region. The teams will also deliver humanitarian aid to IDPs in Mariupol, Sloviansk and Kurakhove. One mobile team left for Sloviansk this morning, it is planning to issue 1,000 packages. The issuance in Mariupol starts on February 9.

"This year, as well as last year, Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center focused on delivering aid to the "grey zone", the places that are not visited by volunteers of other humanitarian missions. We expand the geography of our operation to provide assistance to everyone who needs it. The Humanitarian Center's mobile team is an opportunity to deliver aid quickly and efficiently, as well as respond flexibly to the needs of people in the smallest and most remote villages and settlements. During the whole period of mobile volunteers’ operation, they issued food packages to more than 88,000 people in remote settlements", – Rimma Fil said.
