Help for Donbas in numbers over the week: more than 115,000 people are provided with aid from Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center
Last week, through 18-22 of May, 2015, 115,018 peaceful residents of Donetsk and Luhansk regions that belong to the most vulnerable categories of population were provided with survival kits from Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center.
Humanitarian Aid Drive of Rinat Akhmetov
Over the week 147,700 survival kits for further issuance to peaceful residents were delivered to the issuing points in Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Delivery continued even through weekends on the 23rd and the 24th of May. This aid is aimed for civilians, residing in ATO area and the contact line, and for internally-displaced persons on government-controlled areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
Humanitarian Response
During the week 106,675 civilians of benefit-entitled categories, approved by the Humanitarian Center, received their survival kits in 62 issuing points of Donetsk and Luhansk regions on both sides of the contact line.
Parents of 8,324 children under two years old from Donetsk and Luhansk regions received children packages from the Humanitarian Center.
Targeted assistance
19 Donbas civilians are provided with assistance for urgent treatment and medication purchasing.
