The convoy of Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center is in Donetsk. Weekly delivery plan is fulfilled
On February 5 in the evening the convoy of Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center, delivering humanitarian aid for civilians living in non-government-controlled areas, arrived in Donetsk. This is the convoy #159 over the whole period of the Humanitarian Center's operation.
380 tons of food have been delivered to Donbas Arena, it will be used to form 20,000 adult food packages, 20,000 children packages and 8,700 sets for nursing mothers. During the daytime the trucks went through customs inspection at Novotroitske checkpoint with the full package of supporting documents confirming the cargo composition and product quality.
The Humanitarian Center has fulfilled a weekly delivery plan – over 1,300 tons of food. The products will be used to form 101,000 adult food sets and 34,300 children packages and nursing mother kits in the logistic centres of Mariupol and Donetsk. As of February 5, 2016, Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center issued 6,370,000 survival kits for adult civilians and 474,000 children packages on both sides of the contact line.
