Implementation years: 2014-2015

In late 2014, people with diabetes mellitus living in the Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts could not find in drugstores the medicines they needed, because delivery of these pharmaceuticals was complicated because of the outbreak of the armed conflict. The Rinat Akhmetov Foundation responded to thousands of calls for help and provided 6718 people in the Donbas with insulin.
