Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center provides insulin for children in ATO area
Since April Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center will provide free insulin for all children under 18 in ATO area, who suffer insulin-dependent diabetes, and who applied via Humanitarian Center's hotline. The medication will be provided for 3-4 months of supportive treatment as part of Humanitarian Center's project: "Availability of insulin for children from ATO area".
This project is already functioning for a month. Following the results of March, Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center provided free insulin to more than 50 insulin-dependent children of Donetsk, Makiivka, Yenakiieve, Horlivka and Shakhtarsk, whose parents called the Humanitarian Center's hotline. Ilyich Iron and Steel Works of Mariupol and Yenakiieve Iron and Steel Works of Metinvest Group provided assistance with insulin transportation and organization of parents transfer to Donetsk.
The order of receiving insulin from Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center
Insulin can be received by children from 0 to 18 years old, who:
- reside in ATO area;
- suffer insulin-dependent diabetes.
The volume of issued insulin per one child is enough for 3-4 months, based upon a daily dose.
The issuing point is: Donetsk.
How to get insulin if your child falls within the criteria described above:
- Call the toll-free hotline of Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center (0 800 509 001) and register;
- Wait for a call of Targeted Assistance employee with confirmation of application acceptance;
- Get insulin in Donetsk.
