E-Health project

Implementation years: 2011-2015

As part of E-Health social project, the electronic healthcare format has been implemented for the first time in the history of Ukrainian medicine. The Foundation helped improve the quality of medical services by using advanced telecommunications equipment in the fields of oncology, cardiology and general medicine. In 2012, doctors working at regional cancer dispensaries in Western Ukraine became able to organize conferences, online trainings featuring Ukrainian and international experts, online trainings for their personnel and personnel of other medical institutions, make diagnosis remotely and prescribe a further treatment course.

By that time, these were the most advanced and revolutionary technologies and solutions in Ukraine’s healthcare sector.

A radiological information system was implemented as part of this project, allowing to save working time of doctors and medical personnel by enabling them to keep patient records in electronic form and store medical examination data in digital format.
