How can veterans get gift sets from Rinat Akhmetov?

The issuance of Victory Day gift sets from Rinat Akhmetov starts on May 6 in Donetsk. 38,000 of front veterans of the Great Patriotic War will receive gift sets both on GCA and NGCA of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

 

How to get Victory Day gift set?

 

The gift sets for Victory Day from Rinat Akhmetov can be received only by front veterans of the Great Patriotic War from Donetsk and Luhansk regions born in 1932 and before, who have one of the following statuses that can be confirmed by documents:

 

  • certificate of disabled war veteran;
  • certificate of participant in military operations;
  • certificate of veteran.

 

Documents required to get the gift set:

  • passport of veteran;
  • Individual Taxpayer Identification Number of veteran;
  • Certificate of disabled war veteran, or participant in military operations, or certificate of veteran;
  • IDP certificate (for internally-displaced veterans).

 

Can a gift set be issued if certificate or passport is lost?

No, there is no such possibility. To get a gift set, the originals of all the aforementioned documents are required.

 

Can the gift set be received by people, who have a different status (e.g. Children of War), year of birth after 1932 or other documents, proving the status?

 

No, there is no such possibility. The gift sets can be received only by front veterans born in 1932 and before, who have one of the following statuses (disabled war veteran, participant in military operations or veteran).

 

Can relatives receive a gift set, if veteran is unable to come to the issuing point on his/her own?

 

Yes, there is such possibility. However, the relative shall have all the aforementioned veteran's documents and his/her own passport.

 

Who can have their gift set home delivered?

 

Gift sets will be delivered only to the homes of lonely front veterans, who cannot move on their own, who have already been provided with home delivery of survival kits. Gift sets will be delivered together with survival kits on the date that was planned for the next food package delivery.

 

What is the procedure of gift set receiving?

 

Non-government-controlled areas:

 

Front veteran (or his/her relatives), who have a food package coupon, dated May, shall address the issuing point for humanitarian aid on the date, which is indicated in the coupon as the next date of food package issuance. Gift set for Victory Day will be issued together with food package.

 

Front veteran (or his/her relatives), who have a food package coupon, dated June, shall address the issuing point for humanitarian aid on any business day in May and get a gift set. Food package will be issued according to the date in the coupon.

 

Government-controlled areas:

 

Internally displaced front veterans will receive gift sets for Victory Day at the issuing points on the date, indicated in the coupon as the next date of food package issuance. Gift set for Victory Day will be issued together with food package.

 

Front veterans, who are local residents, will get Victory Day gift sets through the local Veteran Councils. If any questions arise, please contact the Veteran Councils.

 

When does the gift issuance begin?

 

The exact date of issuance depends on possibility of gift delivery to certain town or settlement.

 

Approximate dates:

 

May 6-11: Donetsk, Makiivka (schedule of May holidays shall be considered).

 

May 11-15: Yasynuvata, Khartsyzk, Shakhtarsk, Yenakiieve, Mospyne, Horlivka, Ilovaysk, Zuhres, Kirovske, Zhdanivka, Dokuchaievsk, Komsomolske (Starobeshevo district), Torez.

 

May 13-15: government-controlled areas.

 

In what settlements will the gift sets be issued?

 

Non-government-controlled areas:

Donetsk region: Donetsk, Makiivka, Yasynuvata, Khartsyzk, Shakhtarsk, Yenakiieve, Mospyne, Horlivka, Ilovaysk, Zuhres, Kirovske, Zhdanivka, Dokuchaievsk, Komsomolske (Starobeshevo district), Torez.

 

Luhansk region: Krasnodon, Sverdlovsk, Rovenky

 

Government-controlled areas:
