In December, mobile volunteers are delivering survival kits to 43 settlements of the front zone
In December 2017, mobile teams of Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center are visiting 43 most remote settlements in the front-line zone to deliver survival kits there. The humanitarian aid will also be brought to the fixed delivery centers of the “grey zone”.
“For many locals these food kits are the only way to avoid hunger. In December, we are going to issue 30,392 survival kits, 11,304 of which will be delivered by the mobile volunteers,” notes Mykhailo Katerynchak, the Head of “Humanitarian Aid” direction of the Center.
Mobile delivery teams started their work in May 2015. This format of survival kits delivery allows providing assistance where there is no possibility to open fixed distribution centers. In all this time, Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center has issued about 12 million of food packages on both sides of the demarcation line.
