26 more Donbas residents got help with urgent treatment from Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center. How to file an application?

Over the last month 26 more Donbas residents were provided with targeted assistance with urgent treatment and surgeries from Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center.

Nine-month-old Alisa from Khartsyzk was one of those provided with assistance. The baby has a congenital dislocation of the hip joints. After a number of examinations and three months in a plaster cast doctors recommended to do the surgery. The girl's parents contacted Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center asking for help. The Center provided family with the required medications for the surgery that will help to eliminate the congenital dislocation of the hip joints.  

Over the entire period of the Humanitarian Center's operation assistance for urgent treatment or surgeries was provided to 6,903 people.

Who can be provided with targeted medical assistance for treatment and surgeries from Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center?

  • residents of non-government-controlled areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions;
  • internally displaced persons, who have a corresponding certificate.

Targeted medical assistance is provided to children from 0 to 18 years old and adult civilians, whose families belong to the following benefit-entitled categories:

  • disabled people of the 1st and the 2nd categories;
  • families raising orphans and children under custody;
  • large families with three and more children under 18;
  • single mothers or widows with children under 18;
  • families in difficult life circumstances (families, who have more than one severely ill family member, for example, mother with cancer and her child with ICP, or two disabled persons of the 1st group etc.).

What diseases does the Humanitarian Center help to treat?

Children

Urgent life-saving surgeries (only upon availability of medical appointment for the operation with the list of required medications in hard copy):

  • injuries due to hostilities;
  • urgent life-saving surgeries;
  • prosthesis.

Urgent life-saving surgeries (only upon availability of medical appointment for the operation with the list of required medications in hard copy):

  • severely ill;
  • civilians injured due to hostilities;
  • rehabilitation equipment for injuries due to anti-terrorist operation (crutches, walking frame, canes, etc.)

Adults

Urgent life-saving surgeries (only upon availability of medical appointment for the operation with the list of required medications in hard copy):

  • injuries due to hostilities;
  • urgent life-saving surgeries.

Urgent life-saving surgeries (only upon availability of medical appointment for the operation with the list of required medications in hard copy):

  • severely ill;
  • civilians injured due to hostilities;
  • rehabilitation equipment for injuries due to hostilities (crutches, walking frame, canes, etc.)

To be provided with assistance it is necessary to show:

  • doctor's referral for surgery with the list of medications;
  • document proving the benefit-entitled category (for adult civilians).
