25 more residents of Donbas got help with medical treatment from Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center. How to file an application?

Over the last three weeks 25 Donbas civilians got targeted assistance for urgent treatment and medications from Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center.

A three-year-old IDP from Luhansk region is one of those, who got help. Matviy has two complex diseases: cancer of his left kidney and a heart defect. The doctors decided that the child should first undergo a chemotherapy course and then have a heart surgery. Now the baby's cancer treatment has finished, and his parents contacted Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center and asked to purchase an occluder, as they couldn't get it under the state program. The Center decided to help the child and promptly purchase the necessary device.

Over the entire period of the Humanitarian Center's operation 1,403 people were provided with assistance for urgent treatment of surgery.

Who can be provided with targeted medical assistance for treatment and surgeries from Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center?

  • residents of non-government-controlled areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions;
  • internally displaced persons who have a corresponding certificate.

Targeted medical assistance is provided to all children from 0 to 18 years old and adult civilians, who belong to the following benefit-entitled categories:

  • retired disabled people of the 1st and the 2nd groups;
  • disabled people of the 1st and the 2nd groups;
  • families raising orphans and children under custody;
  • multi-child families with 3 and more children under 18;
  • single mothers and widows with children under 18 years old;
  • families in difficult life circumstances (families, who have more than one severely ill family member, for example, mother with cancer and her child with ICP, or two disabled persons of the 1st group etc.).

What diseases does the Humanitarian Center help to treat?

Children

Urgent life-saving surgeries (only upon availability of medical appointment for the operation with the list of required medications in hard copy):

  • injuries due to hostilities;
  • urgent life-saving surgeries;
  • prosthesis.

Urgent life-saving treatment (only upon availability of medical appointment for the operation with the list of required medications in hard copy):

  • severely ill;
  • civilians injured due to hostilities;
  • rehabilitation equipment for injuries due to ATO (crutches, walking frame, canes, etc.).

Adults

Urgent life-saving surgeries (only upon availability of medical appointment for the operation with the list of required medications in hard copy):

  • injuries due to hostilities;
  • urgent life-saving surgeries.

Urgent life-saving treatment (only upon availability of medical appointment for the operation with the list of required medications in hard copy):

  • severely ill;
  •  civilians injured due to hostilities;
  • rehabilitation equipment for injuries due to hostilities (crutches, walking frame, canes, etc.).

To be provided with assistance it is necessary to show:

  • doctor's referral for surgery with the list of medications;
  • document proving the benefit-entitled category (for adult civilians).
