Families with children in Dobropillia receive help from Rinat Akhmetov Foundation

Despite the high danger, many people, including those with children, remain in Dobropillia. Some of them are IDPs who evacuated from the destroyed or occupied cities of Donetsk region. The Rinat Akhmetov Foundation has sent 2,000 food parcels to families with children. The deliveries are ongoing.
“A lot of people came from neighbouring towns – Pokrovsk, Myrnohrad, Selydovo, Hryshyno, Vozdvyzhenka villages and others. Every day we hear different hard stories. Many are elderly people, many are single. Everyone has their own grief, and people need to tell about it,” volunteer Olena shares her observations.
“The fighting started on our street, so we left in whatever we were wearing. We are settling down here thanks to the help of people and humanitarian aid,” says Halyna, an IDP from Velyka Novosilka.
According to Kateryna from Kostiantynivka, many people need help now.
“I have two children. The younger one was afraid of loud noises, the older one was afraid at first, but then he got used to them, they became something familiar to him,” she says.
