Today, the Foundation provided the next batch of food assistance to the territorial social service centres in Kyiv. In particular, the first batch of the humanitarian aid will go to residents of the capital’s Desnianskyi district.
Food assistance packages include some essential food products, namely pasta, sugar, flour and canned stewed meat. Beneficiaries belonging to priority categories are people registered with territorial branches of the social protection service, namely the elderly and people with special needs.
We remind our readers that residents of Kyiv’s Sviatoshynskyi and Darnytskyi districts received the first batch of aid. In total, the city and the region will receive 100,000 food assistance packages.
The assistance is provided in the framework of the program Rinat Akhmetov – Saving Lives. During 16 years of its operation, the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation helped eight million people survive, including three and a half million saved in Donbass.
