On 24 February 2023, New York, the United States, hosted an anniversary charity concert Stand with Ukraine 365 that was dedicated to the anniversary of the russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine. In the framework of the event, the Museum of Civilian Voices of the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation presented a special video footage.
The attendees of the concert were professionals from the sphere of cinema, music and dance of Ukraine, the USA and other countries. Some wounded Ukrainian soldiers were the guests of honour at the event.
Some of the participants joined the event via a video link, namely Azovstal defender Ptashka, football star Serhiy Kravtsov, BoomBox music band, Mariupol city mayor Vadym Boychenko, as well as the mayor of New York town (Donetsk region, Ukraine) Mykola Lenko.
Money collected from the sold tickets will be donated to help children of Ukraine who suffered from the war and some wounded defenders of our country.
The video presented by the Museum of Civilian Voices of the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation shows several compelling and dramatic stories of Ukrainians who suffered from the war.
These stories became part of the Museum’s archive — the world’s largest collection of stories from Ukrainian civilians who suffered from the war.
