The Rinat Akhmetov Foundation Congratulated the Dynasty of Adoptive Parents from Kamianske on Winter Holidays
This cosy house in Kamianske, Dnipropetrovsk region, was created by Larysa Musienko. It all started with her taking on the responsibility for raising her nieces. Over time, Larysa invited other children into her life, and then the good cause was taken up by... her own son Serhiy, who also established a family-type children’s home. In the framework of the New Year Campaign Rinat Akhmetov for Children, the Foundation’s team paid a visit to this unique dynasty of adoptive parents, bringing some gifts and unexpected creative activities.
This large family made acquaintance with the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation several years ago. Larysa emphasizes that this relationship is not limited only to gifts and holiday greetings.
“The Rinat Akhmetov Foundation has been sending us gifts for three years. We are very grateful. This is very much needed for our children. For them, it is important to know that they are not alone, that there are people who care for them and will always come to their help. In addition, the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation also provides us some legal and psychological support. I know that I can always get advice from the Foundation. I am very grateful for everything,” says Larysa.
Meanwhile, one of the youngest members of the family talks about his brothers and sisters. He admits that he enjoyed “making nice drawings and taking pictures” together with the guests. Like his parents, the boy dreams of the war ending as soon as possible.
The New Year Campaign Rinat Akhmetov for Children is a good tradition of more than twenty years, in which more than a million boys and girls have taken part. Thanks to the Campaign, children do not lose faith in miracles and find additional opportunities to develop their abilities and talents.
The Campaign continues and many meetings and greetings are still ahead! Follow its progress on the Foundation’s social network accounts and the website https://akhmetovfoundation.org/news
