The Rinat Akhmetov Foundation congratulated displaced children in Kyiv on New Year's holidays
A Campaign from the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation on the eve of the New Year holidays continues. Internally displaced children were recently greeted at the IAmMariupol support centre in Kyiv.
All in all, the Foundation congratulates internally displaced children on the New Year holidays in IAmMariupol humanitarian hubs in 16 cities of Ukraine. In addition, in the framework of the Campaign Rinat Akhmetov for Children, the Foundation’s team organizes holiday celebrations in boarding schools and family-type children’s homes throughout the country.
Over 20 years of the New Year Campaign, it reached more than a million children. However, the Foundation’s assistance to children is not limited to the winter holidays. Thus, in the framework of the program Rinat Akhmetov for Children:
— boys and girls enjoy holiday rest, undergo health-recovery programs, and gain new knowledge during the sessions of the Blogger Camp organized in Zakarpattia for children affected by the war
— hearing-impaired children under seven years of age receive ultra-modern hearing devices that are adjustable to the child’s individual needs
— children injured or traumatized by the armed hostilities undergo treatment and rehabilitation programs in sanatoriums provided by the Foundation.
In addition, all year round, the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation gives children the opportunity to take their own steps into the future. Projects for children and teenagers provide knowledge and advice on motivation for self-development, help to find the profession of their dreams, develop self-confidence, etc.
