‘We have received some charitable assistance from the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation. The provided food packages will be handed over primarily to residents of those parts of Kyiv region that suffered the most, namely Bucha, Irpin and Borodianka. Some short time ago, the Foundation provided us with some medicines and consumables. That assistance was distributed to the healthcare facilities of the region. We are thankful to the Foundation for its assistance, support and cooperation. Everything will be Ukraine!’ said Oleksandr Svitlyi, Deputy Director of the Department of Health of Kyiv Regional State Administration.
Other priority categories of beneficiaries are the elderly, people with special needs and IDPs.
The food assistance packages include some essential food products, such as flour, pasta, sugar and canned stewed meat.
We remind our readers that since the beginning of the war, the Foundation has fully covered the food assistance needs of territorial centres of social services in Sviatoshynskyi, Darnytskyi and Desnianskyi districts of Kyiv. Overall, 100,000 food packages will be provided to the city and the region.
The assistance is provided in the framework of the program Rinat Akhmetov – Saving Lives. During 16 years of its operation, the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation helped eight million people survive, three and a half million of them were saved in Donbass.
