The final truck convoy of Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Aid drive is in Donetsk
On the 26th of June in the evening, the final June truck convoy with food products from Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center arrived at the Humanitarian Center's logistic warehouse in Donetsk, located at Donbas Arena.
The convoy, consisting of 24 heavy-duty trucks delivered 480 tons of food products to Donetsk, aimed for Donbas civilians in non-government-controlled areas. The convoy passed the customs inspection and all checkpoints on the route with the full package of documents, proving the quality of products. You can see them here.
It should be reminded that to increase the intensity of food supplies to Donbas and the possibility of passing the customs corridor with other humanitarian missions, Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center made a decision to decrease the number of trucks in the convoy, but to send them more often.
During the last four days the Center sent 3 truck convoys to Donetsk. Taking into account the today’s supply to the Humanitarian Center's warehouse at Donbas Arena, they delivered the amount of food, which is enough to form 50,000 food packages. Today the volunteers of Shakhtar Football Club start unloading the convoy and forming the survival kits.
It bears reminding that at the moment, due to the problems with humanitarian loads delivery across the contact line, the Humanitarian Center's warehouse in Donetsk has a stock of survival kits for issuance in Donetsk issuing points only.
On the 2nd of July Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center is planning to send the first July convoy of the 22nd Humanitarian Aid Drive to Donbas, delivering 30,000 survival kits for elderly people and children of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, who live in non-government-controlled areas and badly need help.
