“Magic Was Created for the Children”: Zlata Ognevich and Mykyta Alekseev Attended the “Fun Starts. New Year Adventures of Kotyhoroshko” Organized by the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation

Recently, a true New Year miracle took place in Kyiv — “Fun Starts.  New Year Adventures of Kotyhoroshko.” The children’s event was organized by the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation as part of the traditional New Year Campaign of the “Rinat Akhmetov – For Children!” program. For 25 years, it has been a symbol of care and support. Children from vulnerable categories, who are supported by the Foundation together with the NGO “Heart of Azovstal,” took part in the event.

This year, the New Year activities were held in the format of a fairytale with games featuring Ukrainian singers Zlata Ognevich and Mykyta Alekseev. The star guests actively communicated with the children and later held a concert that created a magical atmosphere. Zlata Ognevich shared her emotions about the event and noted that she was happy to see joyful children and hear their laughter.

“I sincerely thank the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation for constantly helping children and giving them its love and care. As long as we extend a helping hand to those who need it, everything will be fine with us. I wish each and every one of you more light in your hearts and more kindness,” the singer says.

Mykyta Alekseev said that the atmosphere of the event “Fun Starts. New Year Adventures of Kotyhoroshko” seemed to transport even him back to childhood, where faith in magic and miracles prevails.

“Today, true magic and a miracle were created here for the children. And this is very important. I myself returned to childhood, recalling how important it was to take part in such cheerful events. The place did not matter — what mattered was participation and joy. I want them to remember these moments of joy and true happiness for a long time,” the singer emphasized.

The young participants of the event say that the New Year activities were both fun and educational. The children jumped, held dance battles, took part in cheerful games, and received New Year gifts. Each young participant received their share of joy, laughter, and unforgettable emotions.

The “Rinat Akhmetov – For Children!” program implements projects that comprehensively support boys and girls whose childhood was taken away due to russian aggression. Through the program, children undergo psychological and physical rehabilitation and are also able to develop and pursue their dreams. Over the course of its work, the Foundation’s assistance has reached more than 6 million children.

The New Year Campaign is part of the large-scale “Rinat Akhmetov – For Children!” program — a tradition that has continued uninterrupted for 25 years.
