Truck convoy with food products from Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center is waiting for checkpoints near Maryinka to open
The truck convoy with food products from Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center, consisting of 26 trucks, which has been staying in Pavlohrad for a week, cannot start for Donetsk. Due to the escalated military actions all the checkpoints in "B" sector are closed since the 3rd of June. Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center is doing everything possible to deliver the necessary volumes of products to the most vulnerable categories of Donbas population in NGCA, and on the 9th of June it will send another convoy from Dnipropetrovsk.
"Today the Humanitarian Center has already started forming a new convoy, consisting of 16 trucks, that tomorrow will join the convoy of 26 trucks in Pavlohrad. We are waiting for the resumption of access mode to Donetsk and we are ready to send a joint convoy of 42 trucks with food to our warehouse in Donetsk for rapid formation of survival kits", – Oleksandr Vyshniakov, the Head of "Humanitarian Aid" Direction at Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center, commented.
The joint convoy of 42 heavy-duty trucks is ready to deliver 840 tons of food products to Donetsk to form 55,000 survival kits for Donbas civilians, residing in non-government-controlled areas.
Due to impossibility to deliver products to the logistic centre in Donetsk, the schedule of planned deliveries from Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center is disrupted. Volunteers are issuing the residues of survival kits in non-government-controlled areas, the warehouse stocks are running out.
