“You save children's dreams”: orphans of a family-type orphanage received gifts from the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation and FC Shakhtar

13-year-old Oleksii and 12-year-old Maksym are orphans of a family-type orphanage in Kamianske city, Dnipropetrovsk region. The boys play football, cheer for Shakhtar football club and connect their dreams with sports and their favourite team. The other day, the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation made these dreams come true — Oleksii and Maksym received branded t-shirts and balls from Shakhtar.

“I thank you from the bottom of my heart for my children's incredible flurry of emotions. Oleksii even cried. The Foundation team, you are doing an incredible job. You are saving children's souls and their dreams!” - said Larysa Musiienko, the mother-educator of a family-type orphanage.

The Foundation team learned that the boys are fans of FC Shakhtar during a tour of Ukraine, which took place as part of the New Year campaign «Rinat Akhmetov for Children». Miracles should happen not only on holidays, and the cherished wishes of Oleksii and Maksym should come true.

And the most important thing that Mrs. Larysa’s orphans dream about is the end of the war as soon as possible. The family does not lose hope for victory and believes that «Everything will be Ukraine”.

The New Year campaign “Rinat Akhmetov for Children” reached over 1.2 million boys and girls from all over Ukraine. Support is not limited to holidays: throughout the year, the Foundation implements educational, health, psychological, and motivational projects that help boys and girls acquire useful skills and balance their emotional state.
