TSUM Kyiv and the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation Held a Charity Master Class in Chess for Children
On 5 August, a charity master class in chess was held in Kyiv for boys and girls aged 8-13 years old, who are IDPs from Mariupol. It was organized by TSUM Kyiv and the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation.
The invited experts from the Queen chess school helped the young participants of the event learn the basics of chess playing, gain useful knowledge and positive emotions.
The three-and-a-half-hour program included a trial lesson in chess playing, a mini-tournament, and the awarding of the winners.
Children had the opportunity to compete with each other and get some prizes from TSUM’s partners for the winning places in the mini-tournament. In addition, each participant received a certificate for free popcorn in the TSUM’s cinema, which could be used immediately.
The master and host of the event was Tetiana Kelbas, a coach from the Queen chess school.
We give the children a good mood and support them together!
For 17 years, more than five million children have received support under the program Rinat Akhmetov for Children.
