Sumy region suffers from enemy attacks: despite the risks of shelling, the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation delivered humanitarian aid to local residents
Russia conducts more than 200 devastating attacks on Sumy region every day. The border communities, particularly Vorozhbianska, suffer the most - about seven kilometres from Vorozhba to the border with the aggressor country. It was to this community that Rinat Akhmetov's Foundation handed over humanitarian aid, which people are in dire need of.
Despite the risks of shelling and regular attacks by the enemy, the Foundation delivered 4,000 packages of essential products. Residents of the Vorozhbianska community, which includes twelve settlements, have already started receiving them.
The Rinat Akhmetov Foundation invites the leaders of other communities in Sumy region to apply for help.
What is included in the food package? It includes pasta, sugar, salt, flour, cereals, sunflower oil, canned beans, stewed meat, pate, and biscuits. This is the help people are waiting for.
Since 2014, the Foundation has delivered 13 million food packages to the people of Ukraine. Over this time, more than 18 million people have benefited from the help from the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation, SCM businesses and Shakhtar football club.
The assistance is provided under the Rinat Akhmetov Saving Lives programme.
