02.07.2015

As of the 2nd of July 2015, 255,102 children packages were issued by Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center for families with children under 2 years old, who live in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, and internally displaced persons from Donbas.

The issuance of humanitarian aid for children started in August 2014, when the first convoy of Humanitarian Aid Drive was sent to Donbas to deliver food for civilians. During this period the humanitarian aid was issued in more than 60 issuing points of Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center in towns and villages in government-controlled and non-government-controlled areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, and on the contact line.

Since August 2014 and till July 2015 they issued 212,638 children packages in non-government-controlled areas of Donbas.

Families with children from the settlements on the contact line received 7,697 packages for children.

Internally displaced families with children under 2 years old, who live in government-controlled areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, received 29 767 children packages.

Children packages from Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center are subdivided by their content into two groups, depending on child's age: from 0 to 1 year old, and from 1 to 2 years old. The packages contain vegetable and fruit purée, baby formula and porridges, semolina and oat flakes.

Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center continues providing food packages for Donbas babies, and in July they are planning to deliver 39,000 children packages for families with kids under 2 years old from Donetsk and Luhansk regions on both sides of the contact line.
