Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center is sending 10 convoys of Humanitarian Aid Drive to Donbas in April

On April 3, the first convoy of the 17th Humanitarian Aid Drive of Rinat Akhmetov is leaving for Donetsk. 39 heavy trucks deliver 743 tons of products that will be used to form 41 thousand of survival kits.

The schedule of Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center is very busy in April. On April 4, the convoy consisting of 19 trucks will start for Mariupol. They will deliver humanitarian aid for IDPs, residing in government-controlled areas and on the contact line. 25,000 food packages for adults and 6,000 children packages will be delivered to Humanitarian Center's warehouse in Mariupol.

 In April, Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center is planning to deliver 500,000 food packages for adults and 30,000 kits for children to peaceful residents of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. For this matter 10 convoys will be sent to Donbas during the month: 8 of them will be sent to Donetsk and 2 will arrive in Mariupol.

 "The Humanitarian Center is working according to the principles of Efficiency, Transparency, Neutrality and Balance. All the aid is aimed only for peaceful residents of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, who are unable to buy food themselves. We mentioned it many times that Rinat Akhmetov sets the goal to help the most vulnerable category of civilians, who need this aid the most. In April we will keep on working according to the set goal", - Grigory Koldunov, Director of Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center, emphasised.

It bears reminding that in April 2015 the Humanitarian Center issued 480,000 survival kits for elderly and disabled people, children and other benefit-entitled civilians of ATO area and IDPs, residing the peaceful territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. This number includes 33,619 children from 0 to 2 years old, who were provided with baby food. In total, starting in August 2014 and till now Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center issued over 2.4 mln survival kits for Donbas civilians.
