The project “Digital Media at Universities” of Rinat Akhmetov’s Foundation for Development of Ukraine starts enrolling students for the third year of studies Share this news
Rinat Akhmetov’s Foundation for Development of Ukraine and the Mohyla School of Journalism of NaUKMA starts enrolling students for the third year of studies within the project "Digital Media at Universities".
Lecturers of the Journalism Faculties and Departments of the Ukrainian universities may participate in the project. To do so, till August 15, 2013, one should fill the application form, which will be reviewed by the selection committee. The final results of the selection will be announced on September, 1.
Studies in the project are free of charge and will last from November 2013 to June 2014. During 7 three-day modules (one module per month), the lecturers of the Ukrainian universities will be able to improve their knowledge in Multimedia Journalism in copywriting for online publications, working with search engines and databases, working with audio, video and photos on the Internet, the will learn the basic principles of infographics and business models of modern media.
We shall remind that the project “Digital Media at Universities” was launched in 2011. Over two years, 20 lecturers from 10 Ukrainian universities have had studies in it.
“Digital Media at Universities” is a joint project of Rinat Akhmetov’s Foundation for Development of Ukraine and Mohyla School of Journalism of NaUKMA. The objective of the project is to bring the training of journalists in Ukraine to world leading standards of teaching mass communications, so that future journalists, entering the Ukrainian labour market, could be competitive.
