Food products from Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center aimed for civilians on the contact line are delivered to Mariupol
On July 20 the convoy of Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center, loaded with food products for civilians of Donetsk and Luhansk regions from the settlements on the contact line, and internally displaced persons living in government-controlled areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, arrived in Mariupol.
This is the second scheduled supply of survival kits to Mariupol in July 2015. 15 heavy-duty trucks delivered 300 tons of food products. Based on today's delivery it is planned to form 25,000 survival kits.
The truck convoy arrived in Mariupol logistic centre with the full package of documents, proving the content of the cargo and the quality of products. Also there is the order of the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine on recognition of this cargo as humanitarian.
During almost the year of its operation Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center sent 23 truck convoys to Mariupol warehouse, including the one today. There are more than 40 fixed points, issuing humanitarian aid for civilians on the contact line and IDPs on the peaceful territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Also there is an operating mobile delivery of food to the remote and small settlements, which allows helping people in those places, where is it not always possible to open a fixed issuing point.
During the whole period of its operation Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center issued more than 650,000 survival kits for adults and children in government-controlled areas of Donbas.
