Problems of prisoners, patients by tuberculosis, requires an urgent decision

To May of current year an interdepartmental working group will develop conception of decision in the country of problem of maintenance of prisoners, patients the active form of tuberculosis.
As reported UNIAN in press-service of Ministry of justice of Ukraine, about it the first deputy of justice minister informed Eugen KORNIYCHUK on results an interdepartmental conference on the indicated question, which took a place with participation the representatives of Minyusta, State department on questions of execution of punishments, Ministry of internal affairs, General prosecution and Ministry of health.
According to the first deputy of justice minister, during next two months an interdepartmental working group the task of which is development and bringing for consideration of Cabinet of suggestions after the giving of the proper medicare the concluded persons will work at Minyuste, to the patients by the active form of tuberculosis. A working group must also produce suggestion in relation to the isolation of such persons from other prisoners.
Words by word Е. KORNIYCHUK, to date the analysis of operating legislative acts is begun on the noted question, collection and generalization of statistical information about the amount of persons, taken under a guard, which are ill the active form of tuberculosis.
On questions of execution of punishments a commission to prepare suggestions, touching possibilities of decision of the indicated problem taking into account present possibilities is given to the department.
Е. KORNIYCHUK marked that providing of human rights is in the places of imprisonment, including in respect of terms of maintenance, it is certain one the priorities of government.
The first deputy of justice minister underlined that the to date unproper terms of maintenance and medical providing in establishments of conclusion had become reason of row of complaints against Ukraine in the European court on human rights. In addition, the first precedents in this question, in which Ukraine is under an obligation to pay in decision of the European court a just compensation person lodging complaints on ten of thousands of euro, are already created.
