The last convoy of August is already in Donetsk. Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center has fulfilled the monthly supply plan
On August 28 in the evening the largest and the last Humanitarian Center's convoy of the month arrived in Donetsk. It delivered food products aimed for civilians in non-government-controlled areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions to Donbas Arena.
15 heavy-duty trucks delivered 300 tons of products. Tomorrow the volunteers of Shakhtar Football Club will unload the food products, sticker them with "Humanitarian aid. Not for sale" sign, and form 50,000 survival kits for adults. The humanitarian aid will be provided to the most vulnerable local civilians: elderly and disabled people, families with many children, etc.
The convoy passed all the checkpoints on its way and custom's inspection with the full package of documents, legalized in compliance with all norms and procedures, according to the current legislation of Ukraine, and confirming the cargo content and the quality of products. Also there was the order of the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine on recognition of this cargo as humanitarian. You can see the documents for cargo here.
In August the Humanitarian Center sent 13 truck convoys to Donbas: two convoys to Mariupol and 11 to Donetsk. According to the plan, based on delivery results, 420,000 survival kits for adults and 39,000 children packages will be formed.
Thanks to the timely food supplies, all the 32 issuing points in 17 towns are operating throughout the non-government-controlled areas. The humanitarian aid is also delivered to remote villages and settlements of Donetsk region by mobile volunteer groups of Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center.
