The Rinat Akhmetov Foundation Provides Free Rehabilitation to Injured Children

The Rinat Akhmetov Foundation continues to provide free physical rehabilitation to boys and girls who sustained wounds or injuries during the war. On 13 March, the project Rinat Akhmetov for Сhildren. Rehabilitation of Injured Children will launch the first of this year’s rehabilitation courses. The rehabilitation will be provided in a health and resort centre in Zakarpattia. The duration of the rehabilitation course is 12 days.

The project participants will be children under the age of 18 who received physical injuries or wounds during the military hostilities in Ukraine in the period from 24 February 2022. Young patients with wounds of any severity levels are eligible. One of the parents or caretakers can accompany the child during the course free of charge.

The program covers the cost of travel in both ways, accommodation and meals for the child and one accompanying adult, as well as individual categories of rehabilitation, which will depend on the diagnosis and medical recommendations following a full examination of the child.
