Mobile fluorograph continues work in Kyiv and oblast free of charge

Mobile digital fluorograph continues to work in Kyiv and oblast (town of Brovary) free of charge throughout the current week till March 31, 2012. The initiative of Rinat Akhmetov Foundation “Development of Ukraine” within the framework of the Program “Let’s Stop Tuberculosis Together” is called to provide the population with an opportunity to get a free lungs diagnostics, including examination for tuberculosis and other pathologies with help of the modern digital photofluorographic unit. Advantage of the digital fluorograph in comparison with the traditional film one is the lower level of radiation harmful for a human, which is 5-10 times lower. Every participant of the event will receive the photograph and recommendations of a professional radiologist.

Mobile fluorograph started its work last week and has already examined 800 Kyiv residents. Throughout this period, there were three cases of tuberculosis, three cases of suspected tuberculosis, three cases of cancer and many cases of chronic obstructive bronchitis identified.

28/03 - 29/03 (2 days) 9:00 - 18:00 town of Brovary, 18, Gagarina Street (Attention! New location of fluorograph – town of Vasylkiv was announced initially)

30/03 - 31/03 (2 days) 9:00 - 16:30 entrance of “Troyeschina” Market 2, Elektotehnichna Street
