The Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center's volunteers delivered 45,000 food packages to people's homes

13.02.2017

Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center keeps on delivering humanitarian aid to the homes of lonely elderly and disabled people. Over 2.5 years volunteers individually delivered 45,303 survival kits.

"Address delivery of humanitarian aid remains highly-demanded. Every day our volunteers visit dozens of addresses. We deliver food packages to the homes of people, who cannot come to the issuing point and pick up food package on their own, who have no relatives to help them receive humanitarian aid. These are lonely elderly people, disabled people of the 1st and the 2nd categories and severely ill recipients, who cannot move on their own", – Natalia Baryshpolska, the Head of "Humanitarian Aid" direction at Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center, shares.

Address delivery of humanitarian aid is provided in 8 settlements in non-government-controlled areas: Donetsk, Makiivka, Khanzhonkove, Khartsyzk, Yenakiieve, Snizhne, Shakhtarsk and Torez. Food products are delivered every 5-6 weeks.

To file an application for address delivery of humanitarian aid, please call the Humanitarian Center's hotline: 0800 509 001. The rules of home delivery of food products can be found on the website of Rinat Akhmetov Foundation.
