13.10.2017

On October 17, the mobile teams of the Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Centre will make the 500th visit to the remote settlements of Donetsk region. Volunteers will visit Shcherbinivka and Petrivske.

Mobile teams deliver product packages to the settlements where there is no possibility to organize stationary points of issue.

"On Tuesday, the Humanitarian Centre will bring more than 900 product packages to the frontline villages. The 500th visit of mobile volunteers is the evidence that the Centre is systematically fulfilling its mission of supporting those in need in a "grey zone". For them, this assistance is almost the only way to avoid hunger," Mykhailo Katerynchak, the Head of "Humanitarian Aid" direction of the Centre said.

Thanks to the work of mobile volunteers, more than 370 thousand survival kits were delivered to single mothers, pregnant women, seriously ill elderly people, displaced and retired persons and disabled people. For three years of work the volunteers of the Rinat Akhmetov Centre have issued almost 12 million product packages on both sides of the demarcation line.
