In April, the Rinat Akhmetov Center will deliver aid to 46 inhabited localities
In April, the Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center will deliver about 20,000 survival kits to the “grey zone”. Civilians of Donbas will be able to receive food at stationary issuing points. Mobile delivery teams will deliver product packages for IDPs who now live in Mariupol, as well as to front-line villages and settlements that suffered most during the hostilities, that is, to places where people have especially rough lives.
“Now the Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center delivers assistance to 90 inhabited localities of the “grey zone”. People survive here in inhuman conditions because of constant blackouts and problems with drinking water. Some villages are cut off from the outside world because of the destroyed roads. There is no transport connection. Half of the inhabited localities have no stores and pharmacies. But the main problem is the acute food deficiency. The Humanitarian Center provides assistance to people in the greatest need, those who cannot take care of themselves. These are old people, children, and disabled people. In April, the Center will issue about 20,000 survival kits, more than 11,000 of which will be delivered by mobile delivery teams,” said Mykhailo Katerynchak, Project Manager of the Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center.
The Humanitarian Center has issued over 12 million survival kits on both sides of the line of contact for just three and a half years. Over a million of human lives were saved.
