“Substantial and Necessary Support”: Representatives of Municipal Hospital in Kherson Commented on Help From the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation
Personnel of the O. S. Luchanskyi Municipal Clinical Hospital in Kherson provide medical aid to civilians and rescue the wounded after shelling. One of the largest healthcare facilities in the region was in need of help, and the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation responded to the call by handing over about 10,000 units of various medicines to the hospital.
Stanislav Demyanenko is the head of the department of information technologies and statistical accounting at the hospital. He takes care of the availability, accounting, and identifying the need for medicines at the facility. He noted that the list of the most necessary medicines was made together with doctors and pharmacists, taking into account this data, and is very important for providing assistance to patients.
“The support is substantial and necessary at the moment, especially in the area of Kherson city,” Stanislav commented on the assistance from the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation.
The humanitarian cargoes from the Foundation included some vital medicines that will help save patients: haemostatic agents, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, cardiovascular, anti-anaemic medicines, and other drugs.
Since the beginning of the war, which has been waging for more than nine years, the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation has donated about 800,000 units of various medicines both to the country’s healthcare facilities and to Ukrainian citizens. The assistance is provided within the framework of the program Rinat Akhmetov – Saving Lives.
