Rinat Akhmetov's Humanitarian Center opens new points of aid issue in Krasnoarmiysk and Stanytsya Luhanska
On February 6, the Center started issuing humanitarian aid in Krasnoarmiysk, Donetsk region, and Stanytsya Luhanska, Luhansk region. The aid is aimed for the people, who were displaced and evacuated from the firing line, according to approved criteria of the Center.
Humanitarian aid can be received in Krasnoarmiysk at the issue point located at: Socialisticheskaya str. 22, Administration of social protection of the population (Territorial centre).
Working hours: 8:00 to 16:00, Monday - Friday. We would like to draw your attention that today, only on February 6, the aid will be issued in the Rehabilitation centre for disabled children. Starting from tomorrow the aid can be received at the issue point.
Upon the appeal of Krasnoarmiysk state organization of Red Cross Society in Ukraine, the Humanitarian Center delivered 1500 food packages for displaced people to Krasnoarmiysk. 1 000 food packages will be distributed to the people, displaced from ATO zone, who have registered themselves according to the established procedure, and 500 packages are aimed for peaceful residents from the settlements on the firing line: Avdiivka, Peski, and Ocheretino.
"As of the end of January there are almost 15 000 of forced migrants in Krasnoarmiysk district, 944 of them are children. Lately there are many displaced persons here, coming from Avdiivka, Peski and Ocheretino due to fierce military actions, - Ludmila Poltavchenko, the Head of Krasnoarmiysk state organization of Red Cross Society, says. – Currently the number of required food packages makes 6 000 units. Starting today, the displaced persons are receiving humanitarian aid. We would like to thank Rinat Akhmetov's Humanitarian Center for the provided charitable assistance and readiness to support the displaced people under the current circumstances.
The Center will deliver all the required volume of humanitarian aid, requested by the Red Cross for displaced people, till the end of February.
Starting February 6, an aid issue point of the Humanitarian Center started operating in Stanytsya Luhanska. The aid can be received at: Karl Marx str., 35, Center of Social Services for Youth.
The following working hours are planned for the issue point: 9:00 to 12:00, Monday – Friday. In case the situation in the town escalates, the working hours may be changed.
