"After moving from Donetsk our university faced considerable difficulties, particularly with the lack of material and technical base. I am grateful to Rinat Akhmetov for being a real graduate of our university, for not leaving us in trouble and for providing us with such necessary help", – Roman Hryniuk said.

"It proves your concern and care about education, your understanding of the importance of personality formation during student years and generosity of your soul. We feel your care and it is a great support for us in our work", – says the letter of gratitude from employees of Foreign Languages Department to Rinat Akhmetov.
The Humanitarian Center is also exploring possibilities of helping other higher educational establishments, their teachers and students that left Donbas.

"Providing support for the Faculty of Foreign Languages is a personal help and solution of Rinat Akhmetov, the graduate of Donetsk National University (he graduated from the Faculty of Economics). The Humanitarian Center provided the university with essential equipment, and it is practically impossible to study at the Faculty of Foreign Languages without it. This is the emergency aid that will help to continue educational process without losses for students", – Irina Temerko, the Head of "Targeted Assistance" Direction of the Humanitarian Center, said.

Besides, she reported that the Humanitarian Center is also exploring the possibilities of helping other higher educational establishments and their students, who left Donbas, to get a high-quality and modern education. As in these difficult circumstances the Center would like not only provide emergency aid, but help universities and their students to move forward, to use the best international practices.

"We hope that later these students will be able to come back to Donbas, and put their knowledge into restoration of the region", – Irina Temerko emphasized.
