Rinat Akhmetov paid financial assistance to the families of killed miners

Today Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center completed the payment of financial assistance to the families of killed and injured miners, who suffered an incident on March 4 at Zasyadko mine in Donetsk. This has already been announced during press conference at Ukrainian News press centre by Rimma Fil, Coordinator of Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center.

It is known that by order of Rinat Akhmetov it was decided to pay the families of 34 killed miners UAH 100,000 each. Financial aid in total amount of UAH 225,000 was also provided to 16 miners injured in the incident.

"The families of all miners killed in the incident at Zasyadko mine have already received UAH 100,000 each. This decision was made by Rinat Akhmetov and today the financial aid is already paid. Also the Humanitarian Center paid financial aid and helped with pharmaceutical treatment of those miners, who were injured and had treatment in different hospitals of Donetsk. At this moment four miners continue their treatment in the Burn Center, the other 12 injured miners are discharged from hospitals and are getting an out-patient care at home. Therefore, Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center fulfilled his promise is full", Rimma Fil shared at the briefing.

Unfortunately, the issue on tax exemption for financial aid is not solved by the Cabinet of Ministers yet. Rinat Akhmetov decided to increase the amount of payment so that the families of miners do not suffer due to its taxation.
