The sixth convoy of the 19th Humanitarian Aid Drive of Rinat Akhmetov arrives in Donetsk

On May 23, at 19.00, the sixth convoy of May, a part of the 19th Humanitarian Aid Drive of Rinat Akhmetov, arrived in Donetsk with food products for adults and children – peaceful residents of Donetsk and Luhansk regions that are not controlled by Ukrainian government.

32 heavy-duty trucks delivered 640 tons of products to form 85,000 renewed survival kits for adults: sugar, cereals, peas, flour, oat flakes, pasta, sunflower oil, condensed milk, salt, canned sardines and pate.

Today the volunteers of Shakhtar Football Club will start unloading products at the logistic centre of the Humanitarian Center in Donbas Arena and forming food packages. Each product unit in the package will be marked with special sticker: "Humanitarian aid. Not for sale".

The entire humanitarian load as part of Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Aid Drive meets the quality standards, and before sending to Donbas it was registered in the Ministry of Social Policy as humanitarian aid in compliance with the latest legal requirements.

This week, according to delivery plan of Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center, two convoys, dated May 20 and May 23, delivered food products to Donetsk to form 135,000 food packages for adults and 13,500 kits for children, all aimed for peaceful residents of Donetsk and Luhansk regions not controlled by Ukrainian government.

Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center continues providing civilians of Donetsk and Luhansk regions with food. As of May 23, during the whole period of Humanitarian Center's operation, they issued 3,145,139 survival kits for adults and 217,653 children packages. This week the aid could be received in more than 60 issuing points.

Altogether in May the Humanitarian Center is planning to deliver food products to form 350,000 survival kits for adults and 42,000 children packages for Donbas civilians on both sides of the contact line.
