Over 600 schoolchildren from Mariupol had group classes with Humanitarian Center's psychologists
The classes with the specialists of Humanitarian Center's psychological service started in February 2015 in Mariupol boarding schools. Students from school #5, located in Vostochnyi micro-district and seriously suffered during the shelling on January 24, were the first to have group classes.
As of March 6, over 600 schoolchildren from Mariupol had group classes with Humanitarian Center's psychologists. This week psychological support classes also started in eight other schools of the city.
Psychologists are holding group diagnostic classes in a game format with the students of all ages, starting from the 1st grade. At the same time they are holding individual consultations with children, if it is necessary. It bears reminding that the classes with the specialists of Humanitarian Center's psychological service started in February 2015 in Mariupol boarding schools. Psychological service of Rinat Akhmetov's Humanitarian Center is planning to hold similar classes for 5 000 more children in Mariupol. Soon the Humanitarian Center's psychological service will start operating in Donetsk and will be hosted at Donbas Arena. Psychologists will hold the group classes on development and consultations for children there.
