Over 1,900 Donbas children are provided with assistance for treatment and medications. How to file an application?

08.06.2016

Over the entire period of Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center's operation 1,946 children from Donbas were provided with targeted medical assistance for urgent treatment and medications.

"The most frequent requests for targeted assistance are coming from families with children having cardiac defects, brain diseases, cancer and serious chronic diseases that require urgent surgery or expensive medications. In the current military situation in Donbas many families cannot pay for medical treatment on their own, so they are forced to ask for help. We consider severe cases as soon as possible, because every request coming to our hotline has a child's health and life behind it", ‒ Iryna Temerko, the Head of 'Targeted Assistance' direction, commented.
